How We’re Doing

Some highlights of Mojave Desert Land Trust’s accomplishments are listed below in numbers, as of September 1, 2012.  It is important to note that on average, we acquire 28.4 acres per day, so these numbers have likely gone up since the time they were posted!

  • Acres preserved through Land Acquisition: 39,639
  • Dollars invested in Land Acquisition: $19,874,549
  • Land Acquisition transactions completed: 956
  • Acres monitored through our Land Stewardship Program: 12,162
  • Acres restored through our Land Stewardship Program: 4,301
  • Tons of debris removed/recycled: 50 tons
  • Number of Volunteer hours logged for Land Stewardship: 2,016
