Mojave Desert Land Trust’s (MDLT) Strategic Plan is a detailed document that sets the goals and guidelines for our work. A two-part planning process led to the development of MDLT’s Strategic Plan. We first facilitated the California Desert Vision process with desert land managers and resource experts. Next, we developed our Strategic Plan that included an overall vision with specific goals for desert resource protection, along with a set of maps indicating key areas that require protection. Major goals include:
- Land Conservation and Stewardship
- Education and Outreach
- Organizational Development
