Join photographers, Drew Reese and Julianne Koza at Mojave Desert Land Trust (MDLT) during Morongo Basin Cultural Arts Council’s Open Studio Art Tours on October 20th-21st and 27th-28th!
The Art Tours feature over 100 artists, including musicians, writers, performance and visual artists. Mojave Desert Land Trust is proud to showcase the photography of these two extraordinary artists, whose work captures the beauty and diversity of the Mojave Desert.
Drew Reese is a landscape photographer who studied photography at San Francisco State and UC Berkeley before permanently settling in Joshua Tree. Drew captures his everyday environment, including Joshua Tree National Park and the Big Morongo Canyon Preserve, in an artistic and unique way.
Julianne Koza has been taking photographs since ordering her first camera from the back pages of a comic book. The equipment and technology has changed, but the thrill of capturing a special moment remains the same. Her stunning wildlife photography reminds us of the many animals that call the Mojave Desert home.
