Desert Spaces Spoken Word Event

at Studio/Stage in Hollywood, CA

Mojave Desert Land Trust would like to invite you and your friends to Desert Spaces, spoken word inspired by the magical Mojave Desert, and performed in an intimate black box theater in Hollywood. Enjoy the powerful tradition of storytelling during this unique and entertaining event, which includes stories, lyrics, and poetry.

The evening begins with cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres at 5:30pm, followed by performances at 6:30pm. The program features a diverse line up of talented artists, including:

Desert Spaces is produced by Cheryl Montelle, who joins Mojave Desert Land Trust after producing and hosting Desert Stories (a similar spoken word event) to sold out audiences at the Hi-Desert Cultural Center’s Blak Box Theater in Joshua Tree for five consecutive years.
